If the installation has received a lightning strike, periodic maintenance must be carried out after lightning and earth resistance should be measured and the installation should be examined against a possible damage.

It is advisable to plan a lightning bolt for each 100 meters on projects where a very low landing has been done and a lightning protection system with a very long neck is used.
